Hi Josef,

It's probably a bug fix that unveils the link errors.

        # save the attached .config to linux build tree
        GCC_VERSION=7.2.0 make.cross ARCH=parisc 

All errors (new ones prefixed by >>):

   block/blk-stat.o: In function `.LC5':
