XF86WLAN and rfkill

Hello

I am attempting to get the wireless key working on my Samsung NC110.
The key is Fn+F9. When I press this key xev gives me:

KeyPress event, serial 36, synthetic NO, window 0x3c00001,
    root 0x43, subw 0x0, time 21281895, (229,179), root:(652,388),
    state 0x0, keycode 246 (keysym 0x1008ff95, XF86WLAN), same_screen YES,
    XKeysymToKeycode returns keycode: 238
    XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
    XmbLookupString gives 0 bytes:
    XFilterEvent returns: False

I can turn the wireless on and off using rfkill, but pressing the Fn+F9
key does nothing. I presume that XF86WLAN should trigger toggling of
rfkill, is that so? What do I need to do to make it work?

John
