Nope, that's not been deleted and is still found in the latest X server releases.

As noted when you (or someone with the exact same questions as you) asked
on IRC yesterday, that was only added in Xorg 1.8 or so, so isn't in older
servers.

Sorry, I have no idea what ubuntu puts into what package - that's more of a
question for ubuntu folks than the upstream.
