hd 6950 kde problem

i cant startx using slackware 13.37 and kde... it gives me errors about screens found but none are supported, i have ran xorgsetup and changing xorg.conf driver to vesa brings graphic to the screen but still disconnects during X start up

 

using hd 6950 in crossfire, i tried taking one card out and reconfig, still same issue... black screen on startx
