In fact, XGrapPointer does not really fit me because it grabs events for all windows and so it kinda freezes the wm.... Maybe there's a way to redirect them to their default client but I did not try.

I found out the X11 XTrap extension which is perfect for getting events without disrupting the "natural flow" of events, I'll use it instead.
