Hi,
I understand that Cairo uses Xrender and on the server side EXA provides the acceleration. I also see that
glitz, which is not actively developed any more, used GLX with OpenGL on the server side for acceleration.
I am trying to understand as to whether one is better over the other. As we already use the 3D driver on
the Xserver today for other purposes, it might be possible that we use that instead of EXA. I miss a lot
of history. So, can someone provide insight into this ?
thanks
mohan
