Modelines for TFT on chip&tech 69000

Hi,

When I run XFree86-4.5.0, driver "chips", at 800x600
on 1024x768 TFT flat panel with option "Stretch" I 
have black border along right side about 4mm and bottom
about 3mm. XFree86.0.log reports five built-in 800x600
modelines but it's unclear which one is being used. 
When I cut-n-paste them from log into XF86Config-4 
and try one-by-one with "UseModline" option panel 
goes black. Not a single modeline works.

Does anybody have a sample of working config that uses
non built-in modeline for TFT? 

Also, is there any util that lets you adjust stretching
on TFT panels while X is running?
