I have installed XFree86 4.5.0 on Linux. All the libraries which I was looking for were installed properly. For example, I got below mentioned libraries which I needed.
libXrender.so.1 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXrender.so.1 (0x415d6000)
libXrandr.so.2 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXrandr.so.2 (0x415de000)
libXcursor.so.1 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXcursor.so.1 (0x415e1000)
libXinerama.so.1 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXinerama.so.1 (0x415ea000)
libXft.so.2 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXft.so.2 (0x415ed000)
libfreetype.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libfreetype.so.6 (0x415fd000)
libfontconfig.so.1 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libfontconfig.so.1 (0x41662000)
Now I want the same libraries to be installed by XFree86 4.5.0 on Solaris 9. I followed the instructions given in the installation. But I am not finding these on machine. Can anybody please help me in installing these libs?
You don't say which architecture, but these libraries are included the appropriate Xbin.tgz tarball.
