How to allow non-root to change BPP

I am trying to run a game through Wine, but it crashes with the message "fixme:xrandr:X11DRV_XRandR_SetCurrentMode Cannot change screen BPP from 32 to 16".

How can I allow any user to change the BPP whenever it is needed at runtime?

I included my configuration file; but it is at the default options as set by Anaconda.
