It says it can't find the font server. Try commenting out the line:
FontPath "unix/:7100"
in /etc/X11/XF86Config, making sure there's another valid FontPath
specified elsewhere in the Files section (possibly by a line the java-vm
package added).
Or, better yet, just make sure xfs running. I don't know if java-vm
replaces its functionality.
