Hello everyone, I installed today FreeBSD 5.1 on my notebook and after configuring X I tried to start X but it failed with the message "xf86EnableIO: Failed to open /dev/io". I checked the file permissions of /dev/io and they're the same like in my working X on my workstation. Is this a problem caused by X or by my system? Or is there a possibility to disable xf86EnableIO? Some details about the Notebook: P4 1600mhz 256mb sd-ram Radeon Mobility M6 I would be thankful for your suggestions or solutions. Thanks, J. M.
