The idea is an encyclopedia article, rather than "the media", so it does need to be of a higher standard. If you (or anyone) have pointers to reference material third parties would find it hard to argue with, and that would stand up in a number of years, it would help get your point across. Or, since it's Wikipedia, you could edit it yourself.
