I'll do it. Please put me down as maintainer! I did it long ago while I was on core, so it's not a big deal for me. I don't have commit access currently. Could you please begin the process of getting commit access to the XFree86 port? Also, it would be very helpful to have a specific person to work with if I have questions about process, release engineering details, etc. If there are any open issues, please let me know, otherwise I'll simply assume that it is simply an issue of keeping things in sync.
