Huh? That message was a (nit-picky) response to my question about why
the 1.1 license improves the situation vis-a-vis vendor compliance with
licenses of contributed code. The GPL is not mentioned at all, and in
fact the string "GPL" (ignoring case) doesn't appear in the message at all.
Talk about FUD...

I never answer anything "put to" me? I only found one question put to
me, in the message:

	http://www.xfree86.org/pipermail/forum/2004-February/004061.html

which I answered in the message (which is not shown as being part of the
same thread, but in fact it is):

	http://www.xfree86.org/pipermail/forum/2004-February/004062.html

As for why I don't ask the same questions of "my" x.org, I don't see the
need to. In particular, I don't see anything thorny about the GLX
license (more on this in a separate e-mail).

Also, I am not a member of X.org, only an X user who happens to agree
with them on this issue.

However, speaking about non-responses to questions, how about:

> OK, so how is a clause requiring distributors to give credit to XFree86

> specifically requires that acknowledgement be given to Mr. Schmoe?

which appears in:

	http://xfree86.org/pipermail/forum/2004-March/004205.html

That was never answered. I can mention a few other significant questions
which were left hanging, too.
