You are out of touch, Rich.  In January, a replacement
open membership organization was announced that is in the process
of replacing it.  Anyone who contributes to X may join, at
no cost.  It is organized fundamentally differently that its
predecessor.

Elections for the first board should take place in June.

The current interim board of directors are:

Stuart Anderson (Free Standards Group), Egbert Eich (SUSE), Jim Gettys
(HP), Georg Greve (Free Software Foundation Europe), Alan Hourihane
(Consultant), Stuart Kreitman (SUN), Kevin Martin (Red Hat), Jim
McQuillan (Linux Terminal Server Project), Leon Shiman (Shiman
Associates) and Jeremy White (Code Weavers).
