John repeats: my main topic/issue is really more to do with the mission statement --- An issue I totally do not understand John. The reason I say this is we offer XFree86@xxxxxxxxxxx which is where we 'try' to give help to those with problems with their configuration/installation. Isn't that enough? I think most people walk away happy and no one feels coerced into giving 'support'. It's a gift they give to get more to use their product. So I think you are focusing too much on the mission statement and not enough on the lists. So, now that we all own issues, what I can't fathom is how this whole GPL compatibility thing happens or does not happen. I think I'll make it my 'issue' and ask Alex for starters, for some input and lots of tinyurl's ;-) Gee _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web! _______________________________________________ Forum mailing list Forum@xxxxxxxxxxx http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/forum
