Hi! I'm trying to play with my 3d glasses of Geforce2 GTS under X. As far as I can tell, the extensions like glXSwapIntervalSGI, glXWaitVideoSyncSGI, glXBindSwapBarrierSGIX, or glXQueryMaxSwapBarriersSGIX are not implemented, either in the NVidia binary driver or nv driver (DRI or not) or kernel modules. The glasses are always turned on and synchronized with the refresh rate: I tested with some simple program, displaying one screen, then another alternatively, more or less at the refresh rate. It works when I'm lucky, i.e. if it starts synchronous with the display rendering process -- closing the left eye I see one screen, closing the right, I see the other one. My question is : in order to synchronize correctly with the card, I need to know when the graphic card render one screen on monitor (and when this rendering is finished). Can I find this information inside the current X code ? Where ? Or is this deep hidden in the hardware, and have I to put presure on NVidia to have it :-/ ? Cheers, /T. _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list Xpert@xxxxxxxxxxx http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
