Re: Configuring X to rin n VESA mode!

I'm not sure how to do this with the regular vesa driver, but if you use the
XVesa driver with KDrive, these are the Geode specific VESA modes for use
with the GX1 processor your board uses:

VESA VGA Screen
Mode# Mode# Resolution BPP
----- ----- ---------- ---
0x100 0x5B 640x400 8
0x101 0x5F 640x480 8
0x102 0x6A 800x600 4
0x103 0x5C 800x600 8
0x104 0x5D 1024x768 4
0x105 0x60 1024x768 8
0x106 0x5A 1280x1024 4
0x107 0x6B 1280x1024 8
0x110 0x6C 640x480 15
0x111 0x6D 640x480 16
0x113 0x6E 800x600 15
0x114 0x6F 800x600 16
0x116 0x61 1024x768 15
0x117 0x62 1024x768 16
0x120 0x20 320x200 8
0x121 0x21 320x240 8
0x122 0x22 320x240 15
0x123 0x23 320x240 16
0x124 0x24 320x240 32
0x125 0x25 400x300 8
0x126 0x26 400x300 15
0x127 0x27 400x300 16
0x128 0x28 400x300 32
0x129 0x29 512x384 8
0x12A 0x2A 512x384 15
0x12B 0x2B 512x384 16
0x12C 0x2C 512x384 32
0x12D 0x2D 640x400 15
0x12E 0x2E 640x400 16
0x12F 0x2F 640x400 32

You can then just start the Xvesa server with which mode you want to use
specified with the -mode option:

Xvesa -mode 0x12B
