bind mouse button

Hi,

I 've tried to setup my cordless optical trackman from logitech. 

I ve 8 buttons but I've successfully setup 6 of them. I used
mousemanplusps/2 protocol and buttons 8 option. The mouse is plug in the
ps/2 connector via an usb adaptator.

Anyway 6 buttons are already a lot. 
But now I like to bind funtion to this button, I ve setup srcolling but
I want for example a button to launch a terminal.
I've search the net but didn't found anything and the control center
from gnome doesn't seem to support mouse binding.

Anybody have a solution ?
