Try disabling HW cursor in the XF86Config file.
 
Option "hw_cursor" "False"
 
should do the trick.

I have looked at http://store.suse.com <http://store.suse.com>  for the
solution to the 69030 problem as you suggested - did not find anything there
- can you be more specific where the solution can be found ?
