I'm running a debian with XFree4.2. I use 1024x768 resolution but I'd like to have the possibility to switch to higher resolution on the run (without stopping X, modifing XF86Config-4 e restarting X at the higher resolution). By now, when having many modes defined in XF86Config-4, if I switch resoltion with ctrl-alt-+ I kinda zoom in but I can't see the entire desktop. I would like to change resolution and have the desktop (gnome or kde it doesn't matter) immediately scaled to fit the new resolution. Is there some way to do that? -- Leonardo Canducci - lcanducci@libero.it GPG Key ID: 429683DA _______________________________________________ Newbie@XFree86.Org *** To unsubscribe , or change message options, see: http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/newbie
