Hi,

From some document or faq floating on the net, I know that Xwrapper is
used to do some sanity check. So that suid is needed Xwrapper but no longer
for X server, am I right??

Now, I am going to build XFree-4.2.1, I find that the XFree of Redhat
is still provide a Xwrapper, but the Xwrapper is due to a patch (I find it in
src rpm). Does XFree86-4.2 or 4.2.1 still need a Xwrapper?

If yes, why my build doesn't have one (I try to build one, but not find
a file named Xwrapper). Is it provided by XFree?
If no, why redhat still provide one. and more importantly, should the
X server itself needs suid again?? or There is some story behind it??

Thanks very much!
Lau
