I am trying to get a GNU version of the R language (for statistics) running under Jaguar (Mac OS 10.2) and in both XDarwin and R I get messages that refer to routines not found in a library. For example, /sw/lib/libreadline.4.2.dylib undefined reference to _tgetnum expected to be defined in /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib /sw/lib/libreadline.4.2.dylib undefined reference to _tgetstr expected to be defined in /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib I've checked that /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib is present, but apparently I don't have the right version. Does anyone know where I can get the correct version, or if this is actually the problem? Thanks from a newbie. regards Phil Gleason _______________________________________________ Newbie@XFree86.Org *** To unsubscribe , or change message options, see: http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/newbie
