This is how it is in httpd.conf: #BEGIN PHP INSTALLER EDITS - REMOVE ONLY ON UNINSTALL PHPIniDir "C:/PHP536/" LoadModule php5_module "C:/PHP536/php5apache2_2.dll" #END PHP INSTALLER EDITS - REMOVE ONLY ON UNINSTALL AddType application/x-httpd-php .php I had to upgrade to Apache 2.2.17 as it was the only version compiled with VC9... Check your httpd.conf - PHPIniDir and LoadModule php5_module should only contain forward slashes.
