Dear Colleagues & Friends,

    The deadline of the _expression_ of interest for the 1st Anniversary
    Conference of the 2011-2012 submarine eruption off the coast of El
    Hierro is coming this friday June 15, 2012!   For those people who
    are planning to submit an abstract, please do not forget to send an
    e-mail to "makavol_2012_elhierro@xxxxxxx" 
    with the following information: (i) full name (name and last name),
    (ii) afiliation(organization), (iii) e-mail, (iv) telephone number,
    and (v) preliminary title of your constribution indicating your
    interest to be presented as oral or poster. 
    
    By the time being around 130 people from 19 different countries
    (Australia, Belgium, Cape Verde, Ecuador, France, Germany, Iceland,
    Italy, Japan, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia,
    South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, UK and USA) has expressed its
    interest to attend to the 1st Anniversary Conference of the
    2011-2012 submarine eruption off the coast of El Hierro, Canary
    Islands, SPAIN (http://www.makavol.com/workshops/2012-El-Hierro-workshop/)
    which will take place on October 10-15, 2012. This e-mail is just to
    recall the important dates related to this event.
