RE: [REAL] Free Version

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi Harry,

A VNC server cannot control a workstation (if by workstation you mean
computer with a VNC viewer installed).

But it can establish a reverse connection to a "listening" VNC viewer.

There are no specific settings to change. You will need to open port 5800 on
the viewer side.

To start RealVNC viewer in "listening" mode you need to run it from a
command line using the following command:

vncviewer.exe -listen

On the server side you will need to open server's tray menu and select the
Add New Client command.

Kindest regards,
Yury Averkiev
