 Thanks for your hint. I have been reconfiguring the switch's VLAN up 
to the point where the switch didn't understand anymore and crashed. 
Maybe someone has set up a Dell 62xx switch with Linux VLANs?

I must be overlooking something, will continue trying to find the 
correct switch config.
