With writing to vlantag1 register, in Tx case I see the following veth->h_vlan_proto = 0x8100 veth->h_vlan_TCI = 2 veth->h_vlan_encapsulated_proto = 806 in Rx case I see the following veth->h_vlan_proto = 0x8100 veth->h_vlan_TCI = 32a veth->h_vlan_encapsulated_proto = 806 The above was observed on arm board. I guess it is working?
I guess so...you can ping now? Make sure you try UDP and TCP traffic too to make sure any checksumming issues are resolved.
