Hi guys, When I work on sbc8560 board, I met a problem related to vlan. Steps to reproduce: # modprobe 8021q # vconfig add eth1 5 Added VLAN with VID == 5to IF -:eth1:- # ifconfig eth1.5 192.168.118.49 netmask 255.255.255.192 up Then unplug the ethernet cable, then link is down. # vconfig rem eth1.5 Shell prompt hangs there If the cable plugged, it gets back and completes VLAN removing. I am using linux-2.6.14 kernel, and I enable ipv6 and ip_tables module, but my network enviorment is ipv4. I saw there are several discussions about a similiar case in mailing list. The latest disscussion is http://ns2.lanforge.com/pipermail/vlan/2006-October/000905.html If this is the same bug or not? Could give me some suggestion?
