[VLAN] problem with basic topology

I think its time to try with a new kernel. Strange though that it 
shouldn't work with the 2.6.16-2-amd64-k8-smp kernel provided by debian. 
I'll try with the latest vanilla-kernel and let you know if it solved 
the problem.
