Hi, I'm writing a network device driver for an ethernet MAC with external PHY. My ethernet MAC supports the 802.1Q standard. I would like to know what needs to be done in the network driver level to support VLAN or 802.1Q. Also, please point me to some links that can give more information on VLAN, how to setup in Linux environment. Could you please help me in this. Many thanks in advance.
