no working driver for usb tv tuner [ id : 6000:560a ]

Hi,
I recently bought an external ( USB ) tv tuner card from hytech. It reports
itself as a trident chip with vendor id : 0x6000 and product id as 0x560a. I
googled, and found that tm6000 driver may be my best bet. I captured the
latest v4l hg snapshot ( from http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb/ ) and with a
few changes in the Makefiles ( since tm6000 is in staging and is not
compiled by default ), I managed to compile it.But on loading the driver,
nothing is happening. I checked the dmesg and there is nothing reported.
