Hi all, please I am working few years with linux (mosty Debian), but I still do not have clear mind about video for Linux. For example I have Aver NV5500 card with 4xbnc inputs (with 4 chips). In Xawtv I have to set pal-nc norm, to see clear and non-skipping video. But for instance I have problem to set this as default (maybe it is not possible) for vlc or flumotion(with gstreamer). It would be great if you can provide me with links or learning path where to start and where to point my learning ways.
