Mandriva & ATI TV Wonder VE

This has probably been asked before but I can't find it by searching etc, so 
quickly here is what I have updated:

Old Stuff that worked for years:
X86 Box with Mandrake 10.1
ATI AIW 9500 
XAWTV

I changed to:
Mandrake 2007 Powerpack
ATI X1600 Card
ATI TV Wonder VE card

The system runs OK except for TV. I get sound and channel control via kdetv 
but it balks on the V4L driver and gives no video. 

I have played with modprobe.conf and dmesg now seems happier, but no video

Thoughts?
