Nick, the tuner is not yet registered. It needs to be in tveeprom.c,
that's why the patch. Please grab the cvs snapshot from
http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/?root=v4l (Download tarball)

It unpacks as .../v4l/video4linux. Put the patch from the attachment of
my previous mail into video4linux. Do "patch < tveeprom-new-tuners.diff"

If you don't want warnings for unresolved symbols and dvb frontends for
saa7134 and cx88 dvb-t, which you don't use, change the Make.config file
in the snapshot like below. ("m" to "n" for dvb)

...
ifeq ($(need_dvb),yes)
 CONFIG_VIDEO_CX88_DVB	:= n
 CONFIG_VIDEO_SAA7134_DVB := n
endif

If you want latest frontends leave it unchanged, but you need dvb-kernel
cvs and Michael's merge/unmerge scripts.

"make", "make install", be aware to see some harmless warnings for
install, also lots for cx88-alsa.c, but the compiler should not bail
out.

Please try with v4l2 apps like xawtv or tvtime first.

here needs to be a line like: tuner 0-0061: type set to 50 (TCL 2002N)
