I'd like to identify datasheet to the FM radio tuner of PV Pro
Ultra, to check if the current implementation might be improved. I'm
submitting all chips and xtals I found on my PV-TV 304P+ FM.RC. May
somebody help me to identify what is VR1 and U6 chip? One strange thing
is that TDA9801 (according with Philips available datasheet) doesn't
have I2C support. So, I'm supposing that VR1 provides I2C
implementation. On Ymec datasheet, the tuner has I2C support.
Tuner: Ymec TVision 5533MF
Label on the board: 8533 Ver A.1
Chips:
VR1: EPCOS M1958M
VR2: TDA9801T
Xtal:
X1: YC4.000
Card: Rev. 2F (TEAN T1 94V-0)
Chips:
U1: Jaecs IRDC 357-M
U2: (not found. May be there is a empty space below the tuner?)
U3: - HEF 4502BT
U4: - Conexant CX 23883-19
U5: - (not soldered)
U6: - It is a metal plated chip (or blinded miniboard) without
any identification, measuring about 1,4 x 1,4 cm, with 1 pin on the top
of right side and 6 pins distributed on the left site. Any Ideas?
U7: - (not soldered)
Xtals:
Y1: TQ 4.000
Y2: TQ 28.636
There is a coaxial plug for TV ant. connected directly to the tuner.
The card has a separate connector to FM antenna. The board track from
antenna, apparently, is not connected to the tuner. May be U6 is the FM
tuner.
