I have a question on writing a driver for the cam I mentioned below:
Suppose one would want to write a driver, I suppose it's probably best to
base the structure on one of the existing drivers.
My question is: which drivers are the most up-to-date, the most clean?
That way, one would be sure not to learn it the old way (if there is any).
Thanks,
Bart

Hi everyone,
(crossposted on the gphoto2 mailinglist)
Is there any effort going on to use the Trust Mobile Spycam 100 under
Linux? The product number they use for this cam is: 12541
To be seen at http://www.trust.com/12541
Running lsusb gives the following:
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0979:0224 Jeilin Technology Corp., Ltd
A full output of 'lsusb -vv' was a bit longish, so I've posted it here:
http://www.vankuik.nl/cgi-bin/wiki.cgi/lsusbvv_revealed_more
And here is the .inf file of the Windows driver:
http://www.vankuik.nl/bart/browse/trust100.inf
I've opened the cam and tried to read the letters/numbers on the biggest
IC. It's hard to read, but seems to say:
0435
US68C1616CH-7
I've found that there is also an (older?) "plus" version, but the
product number is different: 12728. I haven't got that one, so no
specifics for that one.
Again: any effort going on?
Thanks!
Bart
