That appears to be for the dvb crowd and not the v4l crowd. I suppose we could see if they would tolerate v4l traffic. I believe there's been some talk of normalizing the dvb and v4l2 standards, but I don't know anything about the current state of that.

Let's see if they would accomodate v4l traffic. I'd like to see the two API's working more closely in the future. this might be a good way to help get that going.
