TV card shows no tv nor audio

Operating system:

RedHat 8.0
Kernel: 2.4.20-20.9 
(CONFIG_I2C=m
CONFIG_I2C_ALGOBIT=m
CONFIG_VIDEO_DEV=m
bttv
tuner )

TV Card:
Pinnacle PCTV Rave
/etc/modules.conf has:
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 bttv
options bttv card=39 tuner=7 pll=1
options tuner debug=1
alias char-major-195* nvidia

However, whatever software I used (so far, xawtv,
motv, zapping, mplayer et al), all I had so far were
some noise and dotted screen with some blue strips).

Please would you shed some light.
