Your's is better because it allows for detecting automatically the input choices. Mine only took the input from the command line. But mine also contained a change to the help. Maybe do you want to merge them both? An change to the scantv man and doc would complete it well. If you have time of course... I am not sure who'se going to be responsible for commiting the work as the official maintainer stepped down some days ago. Thanks!
