Working with a PVR 350 ? :)

I've sent a similar patch a couple of days ago fixing the same
problem. Your's is better because it allows for detecting
automatically the input choices. Mine only took the input from the
command line.

But mine also contained a change to the help. Maybe do you want to
merge them both?
An change to the scantv man and doc would complete it well. If you
have time of course...

I am not sure who'se going to be responsible for commiting the work as
the official maintainer stepped down some days ago.
