[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello

this began as a setup for mythtv, but I was unable to tune into any channels.

lsmod listed the card as
00:0f.0 Multimedia video controller: Conexant Winfast TV2000 XP (rev 03)
        Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV+ VGASnoop-
ParErr- Stepping- SERR+ FastB2B-
        Status: Cap+ 66Mhz- UDF- FastB2B+ ParErr- DEVSEL=medium

Latency: 165 (5000ns min, 13750ns max), Cache Line Size 08
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 10
        Region 0: Memory at f5000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16M]
        Capabilities: [44] Vital Product Data

PME(D0-,D1-,D2-,D3hot-,D3cold-)
                Status: D0 PME-Enable- DSel=0 DScale=0 PME-

relevant lsmod output:

videodev 9664 1 cx8800
i2c_core 22081 4 cx8800,tuner,cx88xx,i2c_algo_bit

I've tried running xawtv and tvtime to the same avail, pretty much
noise on the screen.

I've tried doing modprobe cx8800 card=34, but I think that ended up in
a segfault.

I've tried changing the console.perms file for the v41 from 0600 to 0666.

I really dont know where to from here. I've gotten the card to workin
windows with a program called DScaler, but only that program.

Thanks
