Hi,
thanks for answering.
i have decided to upgrade to 10.1 and will add kernel
2.6.10.
I am not sure about my video devices, they actually
show in /dev/ and there are quite a lot of
them.(/dev/video* , but no /dev/v4l/video)
I tried to force bttv to open these devices (xawtv -c
/dev/video) but the output is the same.
On the other hand, it is a fact that my udev service
isn't efficient, for some reason these devices show
only in /dev/ and not in /udev/ .
When my upgrade is complete, I'll try to get the new
packages of hotplug, udev and v4l2.
