Difficulties with Conexant Winfast TV2000 XP (rev 05) | |

Hi all
I've just installed a Hauppage Win-TV Go PCI card into my Ubuntu K8
system and I'm having trouble getting it working. After much googling
and trial and error, I can get a black and white picture under xawtv,
but I can't get anything more than a hiss out of the sound.
No audio modules appear to be loaded when I get the picture working (no
tvaudio, no tdaxxxx modules, etc.) and modprobing these in any
combination doesn't seem to have any effect. I get no dmesg output
worth speaking of (see below)
Grateful for any help/pointers.
