Slow channel switching with bttv and kernel 2.6

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

after upgrading my kernel to 2.6 I notice that 'xawtv' needs around 1-2
seconds to switch to another channel; with kernel 2.4 this happened
nearly immediately. nxtvepg[1] changes channels also while I am watching
TV; but its FAQ mentions that this is solved with recent v4l2 versions.

Are these general v4l2 issue or caused by my configuration?

Some details:

* xawtv-3.91
* modprobe options: 'options bttv card=2 tuner=5 vbibufs=32'
