When it gives you mpeg2 compressed video ;-) (see other recent mails on
the subject). Note the mpeg2 video is on a different /dev/videoN device
than the uncompressed video. If you don't know, you're probably not using
the mpeg2 encoder.

Not right now: mythtv doesn't support the card yet, and the driver isn't
completely ready for that yet.

The mpeg2 encoder can encode the audio in 256kbit layerII, I believe.
