Strip out the "options zr36067 card=1" from the modules.conf for now and use the following on the command line until you know that it is working, then you can add the option back into the modules.conf file when you know for sure.

modprobe zr36067 card=1

I only use insmod instead of modprobe if I have errors about not finding the module file, and I know it is there, when using modprobe.

Run the command,

modinfo zr36067

and see if it says anything about debug...

Also, that page mentions that it autoloads other modules as needed. You should pay attention prior calling modprobe and afterwards to get a sense of what is loaded.

"lsmod" is the command to execute to give you a list of the modules that are loaded, they also show to the right of each module what other modules that are depending on it, this is not always entirely accurate, such as a beta driver that is not registering all the appropriate information, or other supported modules that are actually compiled into the kernel and not loaded as modules.

"(path..... /video/zr36067.ko)"

This seems like a strange path to me, but that may just be a character string embedded in the code, rather than something the code is actually looking for. Just a thought. Anyways, the DC-10 driver in the kernel did you compile it into the kernel or as a module? I forget if you mentioned this before? Did you figure out what other kernel options it requires?
