Hi
I've had no luck with getting the tuner to work or
be recognised in FC3 2.6.9 won't load tuner. So I
found a work around (sort of) that you may find
amusing.
I got the svideo line in to work and I had an old vcr
lying around so I thought if I got a av-->Svideo cable
and used the av-out(vcr) svideo in(compro gold+) maybe
it'd work and well it did then I got a cable to go
from audio av out to mic plugin and I got audio too.
HA This gives me the added bonus of being able to play
video's as well.
Sorry if I shouldn't post this in the list but I've
been trying to work out linux configure this damm card
as well as my video card (which I have now working)
and if anyone else has had this problem it is a
possible solution until 2.6.11 which I'm led to
believe will have the card listed
One question though if the compro video mate gold+ is
listed as a ntsc are you able to change it to pal b
with same gpio masks? Or will I have to find those out
Lewis
PS I've tried to post some images of the card but I
have to wait to borrow a better digital camera as the
one I tried with, took low quality images.
