USB TV Tuner after Linux

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi:

I am trying to get my WinFast TV USB II device to work under debian with
2.6.9 kernel. I recompiled my kernel with V4L support and bttv driver and
I2C support, inserted relevenet modules. dmesg says:

Linux video capture interface:v1.00
bttv:driver version 0.9.15 loaded
bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture

but it didn't say anything about the actual capture device (the usb tv
tuner), while i was running v4l-conf, it says no /dev/video0 found and
refused to further setup.

i emailed the manufacture requesting infomation regarding the chipset they
are using a few minutes ago, apart from what i did, what else can i do,
can any one please help.

Thanks
