Heya Micheal, I'd be willing to bet that your problems are caused by the LG
tuner, if I remember correctly mine was a Phillips of some description. But
other than that I can't offer you any suggestions I'm afraid, I've never
tried creating a new tuner definition for V4L. It's a pain because I'm just
across the creek from you (Australia), I would have assumed that the
hardware was the same. Keep with it though, my Compro works sweetly in my
MythTV box, though I'm finding that it's 1.2GHz P3 gets a little pressed at
times. You may have to reduce the capture quality to run it with a Celeron
500MHz...
