xawtv, dual tuners and full screen playback | |

I know this is a common question as I've seen it on this list and others many times over the years. Never seen a solution though, in my experience it either just works or it doesn't. I am refering to full screen tv viewing in xawtv. In my case, the primary tuner works in full screen mode properly, the second tuner does not, it comes up in the middle of the screen with a large black border around it. I am running MDK8.2 with a custom 2.4.18 (kernel.org) and the bttv 0.7.100 drivers. Tuners are an AverMedia TVPhone (primary) and an ATI TV Wonder (secondary) If the tuners are swapped around the same thing happens, the primary tuner will come up full screen, the secondary will not. Full screen settings in .xawtv and command line options have no impact on this whatsoever. So, what has to be done to force a tuner to come up in full screen mode without the black borders? -- Harondel J.
